Alder Security aimed to boost sales within contact centers by leveraging a video survey capturing both voice and video inputs. To ensure a seamless experience for consumers without the need for app downloads, Alder Security opted for a web-based application capable of supporting various mobile and desktop devices.
• Develop a versatile web application compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Design an intuitive and straightforward UX, allowing users to receive a survey link via email or text for seamless accessibility.
• Simplify user engagement by eliminating the need for account creation; users can initiate the video survey by simply clicking the provided link.
Focus Group:
•Hosted a user focus group session with 14 participants in a meeting room, covering a diverse age range from 19 to 50.
• Observed and took notes on participants' behaviors as they completed the survey.
• Concluded the session by posing a series of questions to gather feedback and thoughts.
• Applied all received feedback to enhance the design and usability of the product.
A/B Testing:
• Utilized usertesting.com to recruit participants for prototype testing using A/B testing methodologies.
• Conducted internal A/B testing with Alder sales team employees and stakeholders using low-fidelity wireframes.
• Observed real user behavior after the product launch, analyzing two versions of the same survey with hotjar and logrocket for issue troubleshooting.
User Interviews:
• Conducted one-on-one user interviews with Alder executive stakeholders to better understand business needs.
• Interviewed target users using the live chat feature on usertesting.com.
• Collaborated with Alder customer service employees for product testing and one-on-one interviews.
Following the fulfillment of MVP requirements, I iteratively refined the product, incorporating crucial insights gleaned from user research and stakeholder interactions. Subsequently, Alder Security successfully introduced the Automated Video Survey to the public, facilitated by Alder Security's inside sales team. This innovative solution is now poised for widespread adoption, targeting enterprises and businesses. Continuous improvement is inherent in the project's roadmap, with ongoing enhancements expected through client onboarding and feedback integration.
This wireframe illustrates the seamless onboarding process when a user receives a survey link and clicks to initiate the survey.
This wireframe illustrates a survey in progress: the user watches a question video, responds vocally through a microphone pop-up, and proceeds by selecting the highlighted button to continue."
In these wireframes, I showcase varied pop-up designs for answering questions, including 'Yes' or 'No' and multiple-choice formats. On the left, there is an illustration of a pop-up error that appears if the user makes a mistake.
In these wireframes, I outline the layout of the home menu survey list. Users can easily view all pending surveys that haven't been completed. Additionally, the illustrations demonstrate how documents can be viewed and signed using E-Sign.
